Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Analyst working support of US Army Operations at Shaw AFB. This Position is part of a highly qualified team supporting Us Army Operations at Shaw AFB. Works closely with the program team supporting mission objectives.

Responsibilities/Duties:
Perform Cyber Security Analyst duties and responsibilities for the G6 ISD section to provide over sight support and direction to the network, systems administration, helpdesk, video teleconference sections.

Work closely with data owners, information system owners, and users to ensure secure use and operation of information systems (IS) and networks. Possess an understanding of the United States Army and the roles and responsibilities of USARCENT as an Army Service Component Command Operational Headquarters. Possess an understanding of the Central Command (CENTCOM) Area of Responsibility (AOR) and USARCENT’s mission.

Install, operate and maintain Network Access Control System(s) to examine potential security violations and determine if the installation campus area network (I-CAN) IA policy has been violated, breached, circumvented to make an assessment on the impact and provide report to IAM. Review and verify currency of user accounts, based upon user access and user logins.

Monitor, analyze, and detect unauthorized activity on the USARCENT networks. Participate in planning for Computer Network Defense (CND) to secure information and information systems, networks CND incorporates protection, detection, response, restoration, and reaction capabilities to shield and preserve the communications system.

Keep abreast of DoD-approved system security tools and products. Diagnose, resolve, and document network system security problems in response to security incidents.

Scan, monitor, and test network servers, routers, and switches to ensure they comply with security policy, procedures, and technical requirements in conjunction with network and system administrators. Implement Cyber Security (Cs) tools as directed by Information System Security Manager (ISSM). The primary Cs tools include the following: Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Network Access Control (NAC).

Coordinate with the USARCENT/G6 network team to install perimeter defense systems including but not limited to intrusion detection systems, firewalls, grid sensors, and network rule sets to block sources of malicious traffic.

Provide IAM guidance and support for USARCENT Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI), Department of the Army Inspector General (DAIG) inspections, and Force Protection Assessment Team (FPAT) inspections.

Perform tasks in support of the Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM). The Contractor shall have experience at the Theater Army level and a thorough understanding of Army information security, networks and systems and how IT security should be properly executed, organized, and evaluated through routine audit requirements. Provide IA subject matter expertise to the USARCENT CG, command staff, IA Manager and G6 Staff.

Implement rigorous application of IA policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of all IT services. Remain current on the latest Information Assurance (IA) trends and security products and assist in ensuring IA requirements have been met as part of the IT acquisition development process.

Identify and correct security anomalies or integrity loopholes such as system weaknesses or vulnerabilities identified. Implement, maintain and document IA controls IAW the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and other Government accreditation programs. Understand and implement technical vulnerability corrections and specific IA security countermeasures.

Ensure that personnel accessing information systems have the proper and current information assurance certification to perform information assurance functions in accordance with DOD 8570.01-M or the DOD Directive (DoDD) 8140.01, “Cyberspace Workforce Management or other applicable DoD guidelines Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program.

Requirements:
• Two Year degree in an IT related field or equivalent experience
• Security+ or equivalent IAT-II certification required
• Top Secret clearance
• Minimum 5 years’ experience
• Ability to network and interact with key groups and individuals
• Ability to schedule, train, supervise, assign work to and evaluate staff
Preferred:
CNDSP Certification required
